An experienced motor trade service manager is needed who has a prestige manufacturer background, to look after a team of technicians, advisors, drivers and a rental department. You will be a hard working, business focused, Service Manager with excellent communication, staff management and profit achievement skills.
You need accounts appreciation and I.T. skills and good working knowledge of Kerridge/AD9 Dealer Management System with the ability to reach and exceed profit targets consistently. Good organisational and administrative skills are a must as well as being someone who copes well under pressure with the minimum of supervision.
It is essential you are personally committed to the highest levels of customer satisfaction and able to motivate staff to deliver this consistently, understand all aspects of the business and what is required of the various different roles within the service department. A 'Hands on' management style and being prepared to lead from the front and cover all non productive roles is important.
Along with a salary of £31,000, 2% direct profit commission and an ote of £40,000 you will also have the benefit of a company car and fuel, private health insurance, contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
